As part of the 10th Annual Emerging Artist Awards, John Scott, Chairman of the The Upstairs Gallery BOT will lead a discussion on empathy.
John has a special interest in the area of empathy and will lead an interactive, open discussion.
He is an Organisation Development professional with over 15 years experience helping individuals, teams and organisations improve their performance. He has designed and delivered programs in leadership development, team development and strategic talent management.
He has been particularly involved in working with organisations to quickly create, deploy and implement breakthrough strategies that help them to continually anticipate and adapt to chaotic and emergent change.
In 2017 John completed his accreditation with GENOS in Emotional Intelligence and will explore the concept of empathy in a world where it is becoming a lost quality, introducing ways to increase our empathy for others in our day to day and work lives.
