You are warmly invited to an opening event for the ‘Untamed’ exhibition by Maxine Parkin-Jones. Please come along for celebratory drinks and nibbles on Friday 18 August 6pm -7:30pm. Maxine’s solo exhibition will open alongside the ‘O le Malaga’ group Pop-up exhibition.

The ‘Untamed’ exhibition will be on show from 18 August to 10 September, Monday to Sunday 10am to 4pm.

This is what Maxine has to say about her exhibition:

Being a fibre artist I have specialised in recycling textiles, clothing, ropes, wood, etc. I have built up my knowledge of the materials and now enjoying the quirky side of my art. I am using the collection of memories into an untamed exhibition.

My exhibition will have three collections:

- Wall hangings made of Victorian vices coupled with carved wooden stamps

- Paper sculptured heads and bodies painted in abstract designs

- Textile jewellery wall hangings up to 150 cm long
