John's photographs stem over 40 years. They are all processed on film that he’s developed himself. His photography journey began with a brownie camera and he developed the photos late at night in the dark in the washroom.
Finding Tessa is a life paintings series featuring a well known West Auckland strippergram - Tessa who was featured in June 2000 by 20/20 on a television documentary about body image.
Opening night will also include a special screening of a short documentary featuring some of Shirley's works.
