"I am fascinated by glass - by its ability to transform itself from a solid to a liquid and back to a solid again! For me it is the endless fascination of where science and art meet." 

Jo uses kilnforming and flameworking techniques to make a variety of beautiful glass objects- both functional and decorative.   Her inspiration comes from travel, books, music, dance, her children and her family history.

Jo has attended many Masterclasses in glass - with both New Zealand and International tutors. She has two apprenticeships in Medical Laboratory Technology, a BA in English Literature, a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and a Certificate in Graphic Design.
